the same thing you said, but with a "twist"...get a socket you dont mind using again. get some JB weld. put the JB weld in the socket ..dont put too much in there that squirts onto the actual lug past the nut..or it will bind the nut and lug..and that would suck ass. (this crap freaking binds anything metal and stuff...its a wonder mix) ...let it sit up and cure (i would say 24 hours)..then try to bust that sucker loose. basically your hammering on a socket to make grooves in the rounded nut, and "glueing" the socket and nut together. no, if you really wanted to do it hardcore. get a "impact socket" ..they are tougher and dont split under the high impacts from the impact guns. i had to do this on a 79 honda prelude engine mount bolts. you ruin the socket, but i'll be damned if that thing didnt zip right off under the impact wrench.
